Louis Vuitton Concludes ‘200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries’ Exhibition Tour in NYC

Who: Louis Vuitton

What: “200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition”

Where: 660 Madison Avenue, NYC

Why: Louis Vuitton has been taking its “200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries” exhibit around the world since August 2021, and now, it’s made its fourth and final stop in New York City. The brand took over the iconic building formerly occupied by Barneys (RIP) to show off 200 unique trunks made by 200 visionaries spanning all aspects of culture. Everyone from Gloria Steinem to Peter Marino and Stephen Sprouse (pictured here) gave their spin on the legendary luggage, which ties in with the historical and technical aspects of the exhibit that decode the genre-defining trunk. The cherry on top of it all? LV has reopened Fred’s, the legendary Barneys eatery, which will serve food and drinks during limited time windows. A throwback, indeed.

Timex Taps Jacquie Aiche for Watch Collab

Who: Timex and Jacquie Aiche

Why: Timex has enlisted the unique and free-spirited cult jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche to reimagine a classic gold watch in three distinctly colored faces, embracing the jewel tones of the fall season while still maintaining its 24/7/365 wearability. The malachite, tiger’s eye, and lapis (pictured here) each have healing properties, and Aiche’s signature evil eye grounds the wearer (and wards off bad energy). Keep time and feel chic and protected all at once.
