Miranda Makaroff and François Thevenet presents the art exhibition “PING PONG”
Tomas Redrado Art, the Miami art gallery offering the world’s most comprehensive and inspiring present Argentine art catalog, celebrates their latest exhibit, PING PONG, featuring the works of multidisciplinary artist Miranda Makaroff and contemporary illustrator and artist François Thevenet.
While she has built a strong international following, this will be the first US exhibit of Miranda Makaroff and the first time she and François Thevenet have exhibited together.
Miranda Makaroff and François Thevenet have known each other since the beginning of Thevenet’s career, with Makaroff being a longtime collector of his works. Makaroff’s pieces for PING PONG are inspired by a negative tarot card reading she received, which inspired her to change her future for the better and make beautiful art.
PING PONG creates a profound dialogue using the paintings and sculptures of the two internationally acclaimed artists that will truly delight and inspire its audience.
Through her work as a painter, designer, actor, and sculptor, multidisciplinary artist Miranda Makaroff celebrates women and brings their pleasures and desires to life with vivid colors. This show will be the first time Miranda shows works created with oil, instead of her standard acrylics. Running away from traditional conventions and establishment, Makaroff explores the visual universe without restriction, repression, or censorship.
François Thevenet grew up in the rural South of France, moving to Buenos Aires, Argentina five years ago. The process of fundamental change of his immediate surroundings – from the calmness of the French countryside to the buzzing tempo of the Argentinian capital – sets an important tone in his works.
