THE ICONIC COLOMBIAN BRAND TENNIS ARRIVES IN THE UNITED STATES AS TNS WITH ITS FIRST STORE IN MIAMI AND CELEBRATED LAST NIGHT WITH AN EXCLUSIVE EVENT

Tennis, the renowned Colombian brand known for its fresh and youthful fashion, is making a significant step toward international expansion by announcing the opening of its first boutique store in Miami, Florida. The store is located in Dadeland Mall and will operate under the name TNS. Additionally, through their website, www.tns.us, they aim to impact the U.S. market, bringing the charm and vibe of tropical living to American consumers.

“Miami, with its vibrant vacation and summer atmosphere, is the perfect setting for our tropical concept, designed for its climate, similar to Colombia, and its predominantly Latin population. This is our opportunity to keep the cultural connections of Latinos in Florida alive, evoking a sense of home while meeting the American market’s demand for new, vibrant, and colorful brands that represent the unique energy of Latin America,” explains Paola Toro, Tennis’ marketing director.

TNS is focused on a concept inspired by “Living The Tropics.” This initiative not only includes vibrant and seasonal collections but also aims to offer sensory experiences that capture the joy and American spirit.

TNS seeks to bring the essence of the tropics through garments filled with vivid colors, unique details, and textures, with flowing fabrics and prints, highlighting the brand’s signature innovative design and exceptional quality. Some of the women’s clothing items that will be included in the portfolio are dresses, sets, and shirts, while for men, there will be bermuda shorts, linen shirts, and pants.

“We have experienced exponential growth over the years, allowing us to establish deep connections with our consumers in Colombia. Based on this, we believe it’s time to move forward and look toward the future,” explains Saulo Jaramillo, Tennis’ commercial director. He added that the expansion into the United States represents an exciting milestone in their history, with Miami being the first starting point due to its economic, demographic, and geographic advantages.

The entry into the U.S. is accompanied by an omnichannel growth strategy and localized openings in high-traffic, well-recognized areas, such as Dadeland Mall, located in the southern part of Miami, near the exclusive Coconut Grove area.

Founded in 1976 in the city of Medellín, Tennis started with the idea of creating basic everyday garments. Its iconic polo shirt, accompanied by a pair of embroidered rackets, became the brand’s symbol and marked the beginning of a successful story. Today, with more than 100 stores in Colombia, the brand employs over 1,200 people. During the peak season, from October to February, hiring increases with around 650 additional jobs, allowing them to maintain sustained double-digit growth in the same locations.
